Our certified fitness instructors and trainers help you step away from self-hatred and a punishment mentality into self-love, empowerment, and healing…with the body of your dreams and desires.
Walk into any gym and you will find people doing exercises that are completely ineffective and potentially dangerous. Body image can be an enormous distraction in our daily lives. The thought “I’m too fat” plagues nearly every woman on the planet! But, none of us were meant to live life doubting our self-worth based on a number on the scale. And, we weren’t meant to live our lives in the gym either.
At Star’s Locker, we don’t motivate, coerce, or plead…we empower you through truth in fitness. Not a quick-fix gimmick in sight. Our goal is to unlock the “fitness neuroticism”.
Fitness should not be hazardous to your health. This is why we emphasize alignment, nutrition, and fitness solutions for mind, body, and spirit. Alignment not only means the placement of your feet under your hips, it also means aligning your mind with your body to train smarter, not harder, and unlocking your internal and external resistance to change. Whether you are prenatal/postnatal, going through a major life event, or just ready for a change in your fitness scenery, Star’s Locker is the place for you…to dream big and desire more.
Meet our multi-talented Star Instructor Trainers!

Amber grew up dancing in Nebraska, started competing at the age of 10, and performed as a professional dancer in Las Vegas, NYC, Branson, and on various cruise ships around the world. In Spain, while dancing, she discovered yoga…
As common with many athletes, injuries made Amber realize the importance of a yoga practice. In pregnancy, she was frustrated by prenatal classes and ended up cultivating her own practice…seeing firsthand how a one-size-fits-all format fails miserably. Everyone…every body…every pregnancy is so different!
Amber is a wife and the mama of an adorable little boy. She is also a Hypnobirthing practitioner. Her classes include Transformation Barre, S.C.U.L.P.T, Power Yoga, as well as Vinyasa Flow and Yin & Wine.

Christine’s passion for health and fitness dovetails with her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry. She played soccer most of her life and continues to follow the sport through the eyes of her son as the coach of his youth soccer team. Christine has always been athletically active. She has completed marathons and competed in figure competitions. Most of her fitness certifications and trainings (e.g. Baron Baptiste, Schwinn Cycle, PiYo, AFAA Personal Training) were pursued for personal interest and development. At long last, she realized it was time to share her knowledge and experience… Christine teaches L.I.F.T. and Boot Camp.
Christine’s educational background in the sciences gives her a solid grasp of human anatomy and physiology. The combination of her professional, educational, and fitness background makes her uniquely well-versed in total body fitness.
Christine’s greatest joy is spending time with her two children, a son and a daughter. Other pastimes include reading and…bargain shopping…a future fitness format, perhaps!
My children are my true teachers!”
Camille grew up in Henderson and received her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification in November 2015. Getting on the mat has helped her overcome panic attacks, anxiety, emotional turmoil, and physical pain from the daily stresses of life.
Camille’s philosophy is to connect and align your mind, body, heart, and soul spaces. Camille teaches a blend of Yoga she calls Yin-asa!
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, you will get a great practice. Yoga practice is not so much about moving slower or faster, but it’s about silencing the mind and connecting to your body through the breath. It takes commitment, patience, and strength to keep practicing. The goal is for you to raise awareness of your own mind, body, heart, and soul.
Camille will encourage you to make space for silence during class because it is overwhelmingly relieving to NOT think!
Karen started practicing Yoga in 1974 while a young dancer in Wisconsin. Most of the western world, including America, had never heard of Yoga and there were no classes to take. Karen taught herself from books and so her lifelong Yoga practice began. Additionally, Karen took Transcendental Meditation and began a meditation practice.
Karen worked for 33 years in the IT world before retiring to Nevada in January 2015. During the busy years of working, being married and raising a son, Karen continued a Yoga practice enough to keep the basic flexibility, strength/endurance and balance in her body. In 2010, Karen looked to increase her Yoga knowledge and practice by taking classes in what had become a burgeoning mainstream Yoga industry.
Through the years, friends and relatives asked Karen about Yoga and she informally taught and advised on the practice and benefits of Yoga. Upon retiring Karen felt a calling to share her traditional Yoga Asana practice by teaching. She completed her Yoga Instructor Certification in her first year of retirement, checking off one item on the ‘retirement bucket list’!
Karen specifically likes teaching traditional Hatha Yoga with emphasis on proper form and body alignment, holding poses for strength, flexibility and balance and incorporating breath/breathing and meditation into Yoga poses. She also has a keen interest in working with seniors and teaching the forms of Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yin Yoga.
Michael is a trainer with various fitness accreditations, a degree in Kinesiology, and was the quarterback for Fresno State after being all-state in baseball, basketball, and football at Sacred Heart in San Francisco.
Mike’s philosophy on fitness is, “If I can make it funny, people will remember it.” In his quest to dispel fitness neuroticism, he pokes fun at the gimmicks, silly behavior, and his own personal journey from 30+% bodyfat to 5%.
Mike loves to teach people how to shop and make better decisions with real food that a family could eat. He cooks an amazing pizza and meatloaf that even a fitness competitor could utilize in his/her diet. His recipe rescues are featured on our vlog!
